Section Headings

Homepage section headings are not edited in the Design settings.

If you need to rename a section heading, edit the corresponding translation string in /locales/en inside your theme files.

Step-by-Step#

1. Download or open your theme files on your computer
2. Open the /locales/en file inside the theme folder
3. Search for the current section heading text you see on the homepage
4. Replace that text with your preferred heading
5. Save the file
6. Repackage the theme if needed
7. Upload the updated theme to Ghost
8. Refresh your site and confirm the new heading appears

How to Find the Right String#

The easiest method is usually to search in /locales/en for the exact heading currently shown on the site.

For example, if your homepage displays Featured posts, search for Featured posts in the translation file and update that value.

If you are not sure which entry is used:

• Compare the visible heading on the homepage with the text inside /locales/en
• Search by part of the phrase if the full text does not match immediately
• Check nearby translation entries for other homepage section labels
