Authors Page
The authors page gives each of your writers a block of their own: their name, their bio, and their six latest posts. Readers can see who writes for you and what each of them published last.
Setup Instructions#
- Go to Pages → New page
- Enter a page title, for example
The newsroom - Open Page settings and change Page URL to authors
- Optionally add a description in the Excerpt field
- Click Publish
The page title and excerpt are only displayed when Show title and feature image is enabled in Page settings. The feature image is not shown, and anything you write in the page body is not shown either. The author blocks fill the page on their own.
What Each Block Shows#
| Part | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Heading | The author's Full name |
| Line under it | The author's Bio |
| View All | A link to the author's archive |
| Cards | The author's six latest posts, newest first |
An author with no published posts is skipped.
